Spanish teacher
Erika is a qualified high school English teacher as a foreign language from Santiago de Chile.
Born and raised in Chile, she has multiple years of experience teaching both English and Spanish as foreign languages. In Chile Erika worked in a high school and language center before moving to New Zealand in 2016. Here she expanded on her love of teaching and has embraced the opportunity to teach Spanish.
Erika is passionate about teaching languages and the various cultures that come with them, and that's what she loves to bring to every lesson for her students. Erika’s methodology is based on practicing the target language with authentic material for the four language skills; listening, reading, writing, and speaking. To assist with this Erika loves to incorporate play roles,games, videos and music from Spain and Latin America!
